The Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Climate and Health (MAACH) is a collaborative initiative addressing the interconnected challenges of climate change and public health in the Mid-Atlantic region. This alliance unites diverse stakeholders including health professionals, community leaders, and policymakers to develop and implement strategies that mitigate the adverse health impacts of climate change. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, MAACH promotes sustainable practices and evidence-based policies to protect vulnerable populations, reduce health disparities, and build a climate-resilient future for the Mid-Atlantic region.
As the Delaware Chapter of the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, MAACH works within a broader national framework while focusing on region-specific climate and health challenges.
